This report provided us with how aircraft noise affects human health and the environment. The report itself is very long so we only used the information relevant to us.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) made a report which showed scientific evidence that aircraft noise contributes to many health problems. Some of these health effects (e.g. increased sensitivity to noise and annoyance) start when people are exposed to noise of around 50dB(A). Other effects, such as hearing pain and hearing impairment, require much higher levels.
Below are how high levels of aircraft noise (67-75dB) can damage human health.

Aircraft noise pollution also gives out many different pollutants which is harmful to the environment and people.
Below is another summary of the main pollutants.

This particular page shows all the possible solutions that can be taken in order to fix the current aircraft noise issue.
'No Aircraft Noise wants a new airport to replace the present disastrous Sydney Airport. We want clean air and decent and safe living conditions in our city. The new airport should be near the city with good rail access, but not blast thousands of people with aircraft noise. '
They want to replace the current airport at a new site location in Wilton.
